This River Rafting Guide skill-based course relates explicitly to operating a boat or kayak on a river. This course covers the basic skills and knowledge required to become a river guide boat or kayak driver. This curriculum-based training program provides ample opportunities for the instructors to demonstrate and teach the knowledge and skills covered in the curriculum on the one hand and for the trainees to learn skills through hands-on practice on the other hand. The trainees who have taken this training will acquire theoretical knowledge from classroom training and practice in rivers or rivers for practical skills. After gaining proficiency in these skills, the trainees will have ample opportunities to get employment in related businesses or contribute to poverty reduction by creating self-employment through business. Through the learning provided in this course, the trainees will be able to improve their traditional skills and knowledge according to the new technology and act as skilled workers in the related fields. The main goal of this course is to prepare a basic level skilled river rafting guide.
The total duration of river rafting guide training will be 7 Weeks (390 hours) for Residential students only.
Certificate
Based on the determined course and evaluation, only the trainees who have successfully completed the training will be awarded the river rafting guide certificate.
Level -1 Certificate
Those who have completed the training of river rafting guide and received the certificate will be awarded a Level -1 certificate after participating in the skill test as determined by the CTEVT skill test committee.
